Jason Kemp is an independent artist from outback Australia. He has been playing and writing music since the age of five where he learnt to play the piano. At the age of 11 he picked up the guitar and joined his first pub rock band called Fat Cattle and played as a keyboardist, they actually had trouble getting shows because of Jason Age. At the age of thirteen he had started writting songs and entering into competitions where he took awards for performance and songwriting.

He played across Australia touring into his late teens and supported some big name Aussie acts and at the age of 19 had settled down, had a family and thought the music days were over. Well how wrong was he? During his time as a husband and a father Jason Kept writing songs and to date has around 250 commercial compositions in his little black book and at a time when his life took a down turn and went through a difficult seperation, lost his job and the debt collectors were knocking on his door he thought, bugger it!!!! I'll release an album and put it out there and see how it goes.

Well to his own surprise after the album only being released for 2 months February 2004 saw him blast into the European Country Music Charts at number 14 of the most played artists in Europe, A top five hit with "Through The Eyes of A Child" and a number 2 With "A Cowboys Hat" across ten countries, and went to number 15 most played song in EUrope and in the USA has gone to number 21 of the Most Played Country music artist on the World wide playlist compiled out of Arizona, and Number 24 on the Australian Charts. Jason's music follows no rules, he is unique and straight forward in what he has to say :In his own words " In a scene where your listeners are genuine, i have to be to", and he delivers that 100%, what you get on his album is Jason Kemp.
